so i am back from shanghai :D and i seriously had a great time there really. it was almost an enlightening experience.

day 1:
we went sightseeing to 上海书城 :D bought an awesome book there :D then went shopping and walking at 南京路 and after that i was super 困. went to the 宿舍 for the first time and slacked there :D then we went to carrefour to buy our 日用品 and water. sleep time was at 10.30 cause i was tired hehh.

day 2:
first time we went to lessons! separated from other 301 people and went to 高一（二）班 for classes. that day we had math, chem, physics and english. learnt cool terminology in chinese like free fall is 自由落体运动, acceleration is 加速度 and HCl is 盐酸. my buddy is awesome she is so cute hee :D

sat there for half a day and then went for 深广课程 which was basically lessons to teach us about the culture in shanghai.

then got internet time!! :D awesomemax.

day 3:

same as day 2.. nothing much! but had lots of fun at night cause we played bridge together! rachie pok has good hands she chose two rooms for all 6 of us which are adjacent and has a shared balcony so we can cross to each other's rooms to wake each other up.

day 4:

DIY day for group 1 and whole day of lessons for us! had PE lesson which was some 健美操thingy it was very funny especially Eunice beside me fumbling away as i was laughing my head off. my buddies came to talk to me:D i have 3 buddies after having lessons with them for like 3 days!

新彦and之阳came to my room to chat that night after we played badminton together during pe :D

day 5:

DIY day for us! gave my first letter to 新彦 and then chionged off to meet group 2 :D it was fun cause we went to many places and ATE AWESOME FOOD :D fried rice and 酒酿圆子 :D lovely is the way to describe it seriously.

but i missed my buddies.

day 6:

we went to m(phosis office to check out cool clothes and -makes mental note to check out their stores for clothes this year- SHOPPING WAS NUMBER 1 ON THE LIST THAT DAY we went to 龙之梦购物中心 and 田子坊 to shop and shop :D texted 新彦for the whole day heh :D

day 7:

TLE presentation... quite a boring day but buddies came back at night (because they were gone from the 宿舍 during weekends) to find me again :D

day 8:

随班上课for first half of the day and then 深广课! we did 篆刻 but mine was a little bit failed aye. texted 新彦 alot and called her at night too :D

day 9:

DIY day for group 3 and 随班上课for whole day! went to their 升旗礼 but lucky didn't have to do the 广播操. that day we didn't have pe so it was quite boring.

day 10:

DIY day for last group! last day to 随班上课 so we 趁机 gave our presents and took pics with buddies! we had pe but cause we were too sian for 健美操 so we went running.

yknow adrenaline is the best hormone in the world. keeps you up and going, never fails to give you that extra boost whenever you need it. the bad part is, it leaves you tired once the adrenaline rush is over.

that was what kept me going today, despite running up and down from the first floor to the fourth, carrying bricks up 8 flights of stairs, in a bright blue uniform.

and of course, carrying balloons.

my brain hurts from thinking on the spot but it was all worth it cause of the satisfied smiles on their faces, the laughter and the joy of leading.

so the dance went well. my first step of my new hobby. anyway i must add a song to my dance list which is currently kept private.

pretty much the best time ever.

i have learnt to be selfless. and to treasure every opportunity to show myself.

finally, i gotta surprise for everybodyyyy~

anyway so i went home and ripped off the packaging and guess what i found inside!! A5 files and cards!! OMG now i have a Dara, CL and Bom A5 files! i gave Minzy file to my sis :D MY DARA FILE IS AWESOME :D i bring it everywhere i go and i am going to use it during cca too no kidding. or maybe interchange between CL and Bom and Dara.

i rmb how for physics blocks 1 i studied the wrong thing and got alot wrong cause of that stupid mistake. i wanted to slap myself rawr. and the best part is i only realised i studied wrong when i was mugging for physics blocks 2. which is like 4 months worth of time wallowing in the wrong concepts.

and i rmb something about constant change.

what an oxymoron, this phrase. change can never be constant. of course in physics, constant change just means in increment or decrease of the same magnitude but once something changes, it never changes the same way does it?

anyway teachers day was awesome. i mean our class never felt so bonded and though most of us were down with sore throats we still made it to sing for the class. when we started there was a little awkwardness but when we continued singing, i could see people clapping for us, i could see hands swaying and i almost cried.

but cause i was singing into the mic my voice would break if i cried.

then i went home to get my lunch and i saw hanyi at bukit batok interchange when i was coming home HAHA.

today i went out with 301 to buy and make tdc presents!

yup we went to vivo and bought all our materials from daiso and then sat down in front of the nice view of USS and started making the presents! naturally as IH rep i got down to doing mdm suzana's board HAHA! it's quite nice i think i did it according to post-it theme so i stuck my very nice post-its onto the board!

anyway the rest of the boards are also very pretty! cause we put all our art resources into this thing :D and we got a chicken for mdm suzana LOL. i can't wait to perform in tdc with 301 haha!

as for what i have been doing over this long weekend, i have been up to alot :D

firstly is of course my homework but i have been very efficient so to speak i finished all alrd haha! and secondly is finish her present which i have done and i admire my handiwork everyday before her birthday! thirdly, i have fininshed rewatching 2ne1 tv season 2 so i have caught up all the way until season 3 ep 8 :DD i feel so accomplished HAHA! partly because i spend 4 hours on end chiong watching cause it's so addictive ohmygod.

anyway i must learn 'i am the best' dance. i don't care eheheheheh :D

i mean monday was fine just that i woke up feeling terribly sian but excited cause it was my first bel meeting, at the same time apprehensive. it's just a nagging feeling.. anyway. tuesday came and just uh well phys spa and i was chionging away my reflective index is plain off argh D:< oh and i was kinda being pissed at sia so i just did my la presentation and got it over and done with. wednesday was okay once school ended immediately chionged home to sleep. and thursday OMG horrible day it was IH presentation and blah and so yah i just tried my best and did it.

WHEW THE WEEK IS OVER.

2ne1 tv is awesome haha i am to finish season 2 by tonight I DON'T CARE EHEHEHEHEH.

let's just say my life is turning around hugely.

but past experiences have warned me not to rest on my laurels. it's the feeling of jubilation when you got into something or achieved your goal, but at the same time it's that nagging feeling of trepidation that you will come down sooner or later.

that's why i have learnt not to hope too much, and be easily contented.

it's hard to be easily contented, cause once you get something you'll want more. and being the kind of person i am, if i don't get what i want, i punish myself for it.

this is for once, i actually felt singaporean.

it's this blissful feeling when i marched, that makes me feel belonged to this country. i have never felt patriotic, or strongly for that matter. just superficial. but when i brought in the flag, it finally made me realise that singapore may not be a utopian society, neither is it heaven, but it's a great place.

sure, education is rushed and all, but somehow carrying the flag makes me feel important and connected in some way. to march for the school? no problem. to march for the country AND for school? sure, makes a huge deal of difference to me.

anyway i shall describe the minutes leading up to the actual parade.

7.00am: i reached school, dumped my bag in class and ran to find batchmates. i admit, i was feeling jitters already.

7.30am: started to practice slow march and our bangs and folding flag. still as screwed as ever. sigh. but i was feeling confident and i loved the flag so much hee.

7.45am: still prac-ing.. went to calm my nerves by talking ALOT.

8.00am: debrief from miss teng and mdm yeo.. and jiayou-ing other UGs.

8.15am: water break and random laughing with ash to calm my jumping nerves.

8.30am: THE BELL RINGS. i tell you there were stupid people who couldn't see a LIME GREEN CONE and they just had to come into our line of marching i don't see the reason why.

PARADE STARTS.

once hannah shouted 'contingent contingent masuk baris' i knew it was time. so i put in my best. yup! my very best and i slow marched. on the way i heard STUPID PEOPLE (the same blind ones) saying how slow we were marching and i got so pissed off. so i put my buay song face and slow marched to the podium.

and our bangs was much better than practice OMG so uniform! and on stage it was like ONE SOLID BANG i was so touched by our dedication omg. and then i had to attach the flag OMG i was so scared i attached it wrongly it was like

OMGNOWHATIFITSTHEWRONGSIDEMYLIFEISOVERRRR.

so yah. and so when it was time to raise i was so relieved to see it going up the right side omg.

and going off was BEST i loved our bangs!

ahh yes and the parade was normal after that.

i love parades and it's sad to say that this is my second last parade. in my whole nygg life, i will participate in 6 parades, and my last one is tdp for next year sigh.

so this was my journey as the colour party for ndp parade.

this is so nice omg i love the clip though it's quite similar to the one on my diary which is pink! its mazing i have come to like pink and now i will couple pink and green for everything.

my file is pink, my pencil case is pink, i have pink paper clips, pink bands and tons of pink pens. on the other hand, my bag is green, i also have alot of green pens, green cards, green dew drops.

i was surprisingly not boiling today, my face and body was not heating up unlike yesterday so... kinda good to feel cool and calm again. to get myself ready for next week. and i am so happy today cause i got full marks for physics quiz i mean though it's small but it means alot to me. like, i never felt so happy and blissful for something i had achieved. and mdm lee mentioned that 15 people from 301 got awards from SMO omg that just so proves the promaxness of 301 and our passion for math! :D

and 2NE1 is just getting more and more awesmazing. i am the best, followed by hate you and now ugly! so awesome they! 3 songs released in one month omg spazz! but i am the best is the best i can't deny that! bamratatata tatatatata :D

yes very good i updated my wordpress and now i shall blog before i sleep.

yes i shall once again reiterate, just like in my wordpress, about how i love the feeling about slowly steaming inside.

it's the kind of feeling when i am so angry i don't know what to say, so i just sit there and slowly burn. and the interesting fact is i slowly, and truly, get hotter and hotter. the back of my eyes burn, my fingers emanate heat, and my arms feel like they are on fire. sometimes, i get a red tinge in my sight. my breath becomes hotter and hotter, and i just let myself burn like this.

so talking about exothermic? Definitely. of course i didn't say i was angry with anybody; i'm just angry. and pissed.

it's amazing how i get my energy from anger. sometimes it feels good to lash out once in a while you know, with all that extra energy.

dammit it's so noisy. just sit there and burn. ohman okay i can feel myself getting a fever just by sitting here.

blocks here i come. if that's the only stronghold i have, why not take it to it's highest?

ah well anyway yes. the title is Pang and though it's quite literal but it reiterates my feelings of worry and whatever not.

Pang:

shadows surround me,

recently got over my moodswingy attitude. -.- okay maybe not whatever. i have never been so moodswingy in my life. my mood can be compared to a flopping fish. or viking. haha i rmb talking to nicole about the viking in escape haha and i rmb our ShootingStar'09 trip to escape!

oh well but i am going to watch lion king musical tmr :D it's gonna be so awesome i caught a glimpse of the stage choreography on television and it's so awesome! and the OST includes the songs from lion king 1.

speaking of "promaxness", i'd like to describe Jodi Picoult's new book as promaxness :D Sing You Home is great, except for some very thought-provoking matters which i don't really approve of. I still like Jodi :D her best books in my opinion are Handle With Care, House Rules and Sing You Home haha :D

just finished reading tracy chevalier's Remarkable Creatures and it was absolutely amazing :D haha never thought i would start reading classics but this story is really good actually :D

something off hanyi's blog which i CAN relate to:

speaking of books, the twilight series is awesmaxness :D everytime i read it it hits me again over and over. let's just say it's epic! and twilight showed on my birthday so i stayed up and watched it from 10 all the way to 12.45!

and i really envy bella's powers haha. although the volturi's powers are astounding too, like aro and alec and jane. jane is of course the most formidable one despite her size but after all she has lived for centuries.

but what struck me the most was edward's jealousy. ):

i am jealous, ironically, of people who cannot feel jealousy; more specifically, people who don't feel jealous.

i know how it is like to have your feelings transparent. it's like publishing your feelings on a billboard and graciously letting everyone criticise it. it's like showing how vulnerable you are and yet expecting everyone to graciously accept who you are.

what am i even talking about -.- oh right jealousy.

yesyes i'm really annoyed with people nowadays, most probably cause this feeling always comes during the holidays. like veryvery annoyed.

i don't want to live in anyone's shadow anymore, and neither do i want people to always think i am a passing phase. sure, so much for achievements and stuff, but is that all my life is worth? will people accept me for who i am or will they just look at what i can do?

LAND EX! i was navigator with rachel cause we were the only two who could read maps and compasses. (pioneering works haha) and so we trekked from camp 3 to camp 2, first detouring to Puaka Hill. and we screamed 'EAT YOUR SOCKS' from the top of the hill. and reached camp 2 at 4! which i think was damn fast!:D

day5:

i have been on a twilight spree cause i'm rereading the twilight saga in the past two days. i finished reading twilight and new moon in one day and i have read eclipse and breaking dawn twice. i somehow feel that eclipse is my favourite book out of the 4 cause it has both the volturi and bella and edward together in it. breaking dawn is a little gory but i like the part where bella goes hunting it's so adrenaline-inducing HAHAH.

and i admire the volturi O: somehow i admire them for leading all the vampire covens so well that they don't do anything 'for fear of triggering the volturi'.

yay for twilight saga i'm like reading eclipse for the 4th time now:DD yay.

i seriously love CLC Lecture though it's like history in chinese. we are learning about the Opium Wars in CHINESE and i can understand everything clearly. and math has relieved me of my literally heavy load and we finally get to do problems that are actually written on paper. revising surds makes me remember what mdm lee said last year.

first week of school just ended! and it was quite okay i guess. i mean, like during lessons and out of lessons was fine.

LA- Mr Paul Tan is super random like he talks about all kinds of things under the sun that makes me feel quite amused. and for LA, i guess that's the kind of teacher i need to boost my non-existent confidence in LA haha.

Chinese- i like her :D she actually condones copying just don't make it too obvious like copy the name of the person that you koped it from haha. her rationale is that if you really have no time it does make sense to copy cause of time constraints etc. and she loves chocolates! and she gave us chocolates for the first day :D and she's our cft. awesome ttm.

Math- tablet pc + bigbig book of precalc=5kg -.- seriously and they expect us to lug it there and back everyday cause there's math everyday. @shu ning come on man let's get a locker i'm not risking my back. and the fact that our classroom is on the first floor and the tablet pc lab is on the fourth floor is not good either. but i think the book's quite cool haha. and the tablet pc is fun to play with and it's 3000 bucks wth. whoop for mdm lee:D

CLC Lecture- i kind of think CLC Lecture is fun :D most probably cause they changed the teacher to a nicer and funnier one who includes jokes that people actually laugh at HAH. chinese culture has never been more interesting. for a fact, i'm mad.

Chemistry- woah our teacher talks like... a speed train. until i got a headache in class. much like how a bird tweets like tweety bird HAHAH. and she showed us how to make slime with chemistry and "the beauty of chemistry" so to speak. i still love science in general:D

and now i can't wait for next monday/tuesday/wednesday cause there's math first period:D and thursday cause there's chem prac:D and friday cause there's CCA. :DDD

i woke up and just realised that 1/0 is really infinity :D
okay anyway. i just came back from camp yesterday and slept for 17 hours before waking up to blog.

day 1:
came to school at 7 :D and sat around making last minute changes OMG. and i was freaking tired cause i woke up super early (and now i can't type coherently cause i haven't been typing for four days xD) anyway so pitching tent and gadget went fine but my hands were super pain after that. then after lunch i started sneezing like mad and continued like that for the whole day until i realised i was sick. and sarah and ashleigh were sick too so we were like coughing and sneezing for the whole day. and we koped tissue from agnes :D haha after that went for pioneering and axemanship:D and i sawed off wood again and made myself happy HAHA. ashleigh and i came up with more funny cheers haha and told yee khoon the doraemon joke LOL! that night there was trust and courage:D and i did trust fall first haha :D that was the most fun one lah:DD okay then after that was COH (tingting was looking forward so much to it) and then debriefed the subcamp then went to sleep.

day 2:
oh that night was night trail! and we broke the record for skipping and the fan relay HAHAH! (hi-five to yunmin for being awesome!:D) and COH again.

i can't stand it anymore. i hate having to move around randomly without a freaking aim in life and seeing things that leave me angry but wantng to know more. i hate that feeling of making people feel happy but no one does it back. when i say i'm okay, i just want someone to hug me and say,"i know you're not." it sucks when i see others feeling bad and i can't do anything at all. but i can do something to make myself happy. i feel, to a certain extent, selfish and self-centred and horrible.

even the people that i respected before have no more self esteem left.

i guess everyone has their points when they feel like trash and wants others to feel like trash with them. life feels quadratic. or cubic. or some complicated graph that goes up and down and it's left for the stupid equation to decide where it should go, how gentle the slope is, how big the amplitude, and whether there are other lines like tangents to go on this crazy journey with you. except. life has no equation. and it feels like trash when i think of things for like a week or so and don't get anything out of it. or when i try to distract myself from it but it keeps coming back to me.

i am sorry for getting pissed at people even though it's not their fault. or just getting pissed for nothing. or even feeling jealous. and maybe i should just start letting go. but it's really hard to remember to forget.

i may look happy and okay outside, but you never know what's raging on in my mind. but i actually still feel damn nostalgic when i see those stuff. do you remember all the city lights on the water? you saw me start to believe for the first time.

haha it was sabbat's week which was boring but after school was damn fun HOHO.

Monday nothing to talk so yah. Tuesday went to guides HQ with shanisse, gwen, clarice, jiachun, andrea, sarah and rachel to research for bp quest. then the grass was damn slippery (cause i was walking down the slope) and then i slipped and fell -.- and scraped my knee. it's freaking pain now i don't want to talk about it omg.

haha wednesday no school:D so went to great world to watch megamind with lixin, chloe, lynn, shu ting and xin suen! the show is damn lame and funny haha! and then ate lunch and went around window shopping cause we had no money to buy stuff LOL. (and randomly picked out clothes from ZARA for xin suen to wear on graces/grad night HAHAHA!) and looked at M&Ms which looked damn nice and yummy hoohoo and colourful:D

haha so anyway:D we continued walking and looked at lego stuff:D after i bought my lego bricks earpiece i love lego alot haha i need to go lixin's house and play lego:D anyway. yah we wandered around and played hungry sharks on lixin's iTouch.

thursday i went home early and slept for a looong time. then friday came D: It was the last day of school i was super sad. classmates and besties gave me their farewell cards omg i cried after reading all of them DD:

fps nationals from 4thto 6th was...rewarding and disappointing.

4th nov;
we skipped level/class closure and almost all other post-exam activities just to prepare for nationals. and we like spent our time cooped up in the computer lab researching on food distribution. later we took taxi to rgs for the competition. and wenyin and i had embarrassing moments there which is too horrible to put here omgomg. during the competition, we didn't have the formidable timer (which we kinda missed) but we had a clock so yah. and the future scene was so annoying it kept saying that some problems arose from Poseidon's Nereid fishing system but in the end it was solved D: so finding problems was hard D: we spent 20mins on our underlying problem and were severely late on solutions and omg we almost didn't finish our booklet DD:
quite sad after the booklet D:

6th nov;
had to go to rgs at 8.30 D: the main thing on that day was action plan presentation, so we started making the tunnel for our undersea tunnel for Nereid fishes:D haha using paper plates and raffia string omg. (i almost felt like i was in OM or something like that.) and then we made the fish:D haha thanks annabella for helping us to make cute fishies and helping us write the summary for our action plan :D haha our props were too flimsy to be even called 'props' haha but whatever. our presentation was hilarious but nehmind we all had fun in the end and that's what matters:D i am particularly impressed by the junior scenario writers cause their stories are so interesting and pro omg. haha then it came to awards ceremony :O it was really scary cause i was really cold and to hold my breath all the way until they reached global issues middle section was pretty hard.

yeah it came to judgement day and i almost died when they announced that our team got 3rd... and we missed that chance to go to USA by just one placing.

omg.

i am just disappointed. but it's quite good for us to beat rgs sec 3 teams... argh idk. but jiayou cheryl, ting ting, sabrina and jay mi for international conference in US :D

okay i have been going through muchmuch emotional trauma. it's like i have so many things piling on top of me and i can't take it anymore i am going to explode and now i am ranting incoherently like omgiamgoingtodieandomgwhymustthishappentome that sort of stuff. D:

screw fps it just had to clash with level/class closure and farewell.

as 212's ex acm, i feel quite sad that i actually missed the chance to address the class for the last time. i miss being at the back of the class listening to teachers during lessons, i miss standing at the front of the class discussing class matters with chloe, i miss running around the class like a mad person, i miss laughing with deskmates and creating lame jokes like 慈悲为怀!

i miss alot of stuff.

i miss dramafest because that project was the time where the class really collaborated together and worked together to present The Last Regret! as 212 director i feel very 欣慰 whenever i see actors coming together to settle the scenes, and i feel happy when the scene runs perfectly and flawlessly.

though our class has been through so much trials and fights, but i feel very touched cause we managed to come together again and make up 212'10!

212 will be the best class! and i am very happy to be a part of it :D

hohoho i shall update on the past three weeks.

first week; west div heritage trail.
it just had to effing rain on that day.
haha i went around with ashleigh!
and we made friends with the mgs sec3 guides!
and yunzhi(one of them) brought a raincoat and she wore it around for the whole time she looked damn cool in it.
and we were all jealous of her raincoat cause we were too lazy to carry umbrella.
i walked around in the rain haha, because of my laziness.
i think mgs guides are damn cool.
they were so outgoing and outspoken i feel so 不如她们.

second week; west div day.
our station required us to do a split.
and to think that we just had chinese dance the previous day.
plus footdrill.
my leg was going to break.
so anyway yeah i forced myself down.
and we got 790.8cm in total!
(and my leg almost broke.)
i finished math and geog there i feel so impressed with myself.
and gladys spilled the chilli on ashleigh's homework HAHA.
ASHLEIGH YOU TOFU GORRILLA HAHA.
ohohoh and the mgs guides remembered us!
we were walking past them then they came up to us and talked to us!
i feel so 感动 haha.

third week;

we did a long split in class when miss tan didn't come haha.
this week we had fps qualifyings!
and it was damn epic.

the timer was so formidable it was so huge i was so scared by it.
we had some damn weird future scene where i didn't understand anything at first.
after i read it it was hilarious.
so problems, solutions and criteria went well.
i think our solutions were so wacky.
cue the guardian angel, microchip, mass conveyor belt haha.

then came to action plan; with 25 minutes left.
we were rushing it all out.
so we didn't have enough time then we asked the teacher for 2 more pages so that we could write simultaneously.
in the end our future scene was 4 pages long!
and we had 1 minute to check HAHAHA.
got people still writing when time was up lehhh.
i feel so sad for them.

so cool i love my life now.

even though i didn't get into council.
YAHLAH I DIDN'T GET INTO COUNCIL LAH.

guess my birthday is the only day i will actually get some form of happiness in my life.
yeah i shall not think of my birthday as some day of reckoning anymore.
its my happy day! :D
and if anyone kills my joy on that day, you are dead to me.

haha i went out with wenyin to jp today(:
and we went to watch marmaduke hee.
then we went to get my birthday present!
i love her a lot haha for once i got her to 'part with her money' hohoho.
it was pretty much epic lah our outing.
but she pangseh-ed me on the way home.rawr her.
